The FSR for Communications & Media aims at representing a European forum supported by its institutional partners (IRG and Commission), where policy makers, regulators, undertakings, academics and relevant stakeholders can meet and debate on a common basis. With this aim it organizes different policy events:
- Conferences: to disseminate information and research results about regulatory issues
- Workshops: to discuss policy issues among regulators, academics and sponsors
- Scientific Seminars: to present original scientific and policy research or to start an in-depth scientific debate on specific regulatory topics. This kind of events represent the main link between policy events organization and research activities.
Topics for discussion are suggested by the Institutional Partners (Commission and IRG) and by the Advisory Council. They are selected by the Area Director and the Scientific Committee, with the aim to anticipate, feed and shape the policy debate.
