The Implementation of the Telecoms Regulatory Framework in EU12: Policy, Regulatory and Market Challenges
Budapest (HU), 24 June 2011
The Florence School of Regulation at the European University Institute organizes its 2011 Annual Conference in Budapest (Hungary) with the patronage of the Hungarian 2011 Presidency of the European Union.
The development of the internal market and the necessary consistency of the regulation practices across Europe represent two fundamental objectives of the European policy. For this reason the conference firstly aims at discussing the implementation of the regulatory framework and market outcomes in the EU12 member States. Secondly, the conference wants to assess peculiarities and differences from regulation and market dynamics within EU15 member States, characterized by a longer process of market liberalization and competition enhancement.
The conference topic has been outlined following DG INFSO and BEREC indications and priorities and will be discussed by high representatives of Telecoms companies, National and European institutions and Academics.
The conference is composed of key-note speeches and three panels of debates. Please see the detailed programme.
