"Regulated Access to NGA"

Florence, 20th November 2009
Villa La Fonte
via della Fontanelle 10,  San Domenico di Fiesole

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Immediately after its establishment, the FSR - Communication & Media will start its activity with an important policy event:

Regulated Access to NGA - presenting and discussing the new Commission Recommendation

The new Commission Recommendation will be presented and discussed. The I/ERG President has already confirmed his participation jointly with higher Commission representatives. They will illustrate their view on how the new regulations of NGA access should be enforced by the Commission and member States in the next years. A special space will be allocated to discuss the role of agreements among competitors as an instrument to allow investments in especially risky economic environments. The workshop aims at clarifying one of the key tradeoffs between competition, regulation and investment.
