FSR for Communications & Media, as part of the Robert Schuman Centre at the EUI, wants to promote research at the highest level, assuring the highest academic standard to all of its activities. Research is devoted to a deeper understanding of regulations of Communications & Media through:
Research Projects: The FSR is involved in specific research projects aimed at enhancing the understanding of regulatory and policy issues and explores new effective solutions. Projects are carried out in partnership with European institutions, Regulatory authorities or groups of stakeholders. (Projects serving narrow interests are excluded).
Working Papers: a working papers series on "Regulation of Communications & Media" is guaranteed and managed by the FSR - Communications & Media Scientific Committee
Post doctoral fellows at the RSCAS/FSR: the fellowships are intended to support post-doctoral analytical and empirical research about regulation of Communications & Media.
Visiting fellows: the FSR can host Visiting Fellows (scholars, regulators and practitioners) who wish to conduct original research about regulation of Communications & Media and partecipate to School policy events.
