Energy Policy Events

The FSR Energy organises workshops, conferences, executive seminars and ad-hoc seminars.

Conferences are broader in their focus and review, for example, regulatory practices, future trends in energy market design or climate change policies. Once a year FSR energy organises its Annual Conference that attracts personalities of the energy sector from regulatory organisations, of energy companies and of the European Commissions. Target audience: regulatory authorities; FSR energy donors; European Commission

Workshops
cover a large range of subjects such as regional initiatives, regulation of exchanges, investment incentives for grids, European regulation of security of supply and ways to implement the Third Package. They are a good opportunity for regulators, academics and industry representatives to discuss security of supply regulation. These events aim to have an impact on political discussions and decision-making. FSR Energy closely participated in the launching and the following up of the industrial initiative of smart grids. Target audience: regulatory authorities; FSR energy donors; European Commission

Executive Seminars
are brief events that aim to draw a professional overview of current issues and future trends in the field of special interest of high level participants. The concept of the executive seminar is to combine presentations with real discussions and exchange of ideas between the organizers, the speakers, and 15 to 20 participants. Target audience: high-level participation from regulatory authorities; FSR energy donors; European Commission

Ad-hoc Seminars
are small events organised with one or some few partners of FSR energy covering specific questions of the energy regulation.
