The objective of the roundtable is to explore the interaction of electricity network planning, regulation and financing at EU and member state level. What further coordination and development of the regulatory framework is necessary to ensure an economic delivery of security of supply and sustainability objectives?
This is an informal meeting under Chatham House rule to bring together the perspectives from regulators, national and EU administration, TSOs, generation companies and academics. A summary of the ideas emerging from the discussions will be shared among participants for review and subsequently published as a roundtable report.
