Training course à la carte

The Training à la Carte is a course ad hoc, designed to meet the specific needs of any regulatory institutions or companies regarding all regulatory issues as well as the logistics aspects.

In 2009 two training courses were organised in Milan for junior and senior staff at the Italian Regulatory Authority for Electricity and GAS (AEEG). Also in 2009 a specific training course for regulatory staff from Mediterranean countries (MEDREG) was held in Milan, and a second edition will take place in Florence in July 2010. The following countries are involved: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia. The training courses contribute to strengthening cooperation among regulators, which is of primary importance for the setting up of an integrated Euro-Mediterranean energy market.

Moreover, the Florence School of Regulation and the Algerian Petroleum Institute together designed and implemented a training programme during 2009 and 2010 for 30 managers about the technical and economic developments concerning the reform of the electricity sector in Algeria and other pilot countries. The programme was inaugurated by His Excellency the Minister of Energy of Algeria.
