FSR SUMMER SCHOOL ON REGULATION OF ENERGY UTILITIES
2010 EDITION - Florence, 28th June-2nd July 2010

Learning from high level representatives on the broad scope of energy markets and regulation is definitely guaranteed at the Florence Summer School. But what makes it really special is the diverse audience from all over Europe and beyond as well as the possibility to discuss with the speakers and participants in a very friendly environment. Not enough, this was completed by an after-work programme, which made me fall in love with the wonderful city of Florence.” - Sebastian Gras (BNetzA, Germany)

“The course is very well organised and covers both theory and case studies. It proved to be a great opportunity to meet other regulators and share ideas. I had never had a training in such fantastic surroundings. Florence and the EUI are well worth the visit."
C. Marcelis (Ofgem, UK)

“This is a comprehensive and well designed course that concisely covers the most relevant aspects of regulation of electricity and gas sectors under theoretical and practical standpoints. Would definitely recommend it for regulators from all over the world. The course dynamics offers opportunities for interactions among participants. This allows sharing of experiences and extensive learning.” - Luiz Barroso (PSR, Brazil)

"The FSR Summer School 2010 edition was a very motivating and pleasant experience. The speakers were great, the participants were active both in and after class, and the surroundings were stunning. For me, working for Vattenfall - an energy company - it was a good opportunity to meet people from different national authorities and other energy companies to share knowledge in this very inspiring environment. I strongly recommend FSR to others who want to gain an understanding of regulatory affairs."
Erik Wijnbladh (Vattenfall AB, Sweden)
