Laura Burgassi

FSR Project Assistant

Laura Burgassi
is the FSR Project Assistant.
She joined the EUI in 2004. She has always been attached to the RSCAS where she initially carried out secretarial duties and assistance to several professors and projects, organized events and held contacts with sponsors. Soon her tasks have broadened and defined into administrative responsibilities in project management and coordination.
She speaks fluently English, French and German.

Christine Lyon

FSR Project Assistant

Christine Lyon is part of the FSR&Loyola de Palacio secretariat team. She has a degree from the faculty of Lettres of the University of Lausanne. For 6 years, she was responsible of the dissemination unit in a private company dealing with Renewable Energies. She joined the EUI-RSCAS in 2006 and worked as Project secretary for European programmes in the field of Migration. She speaks French, English and Italian.

Annika Zorn


Coordinator FSR Energy


Annika Zorn holds a PhD from the European University Institute, Department of
Social and Political Science (EUI/Florence, Italy). She holds also a Master of Research (M.Res.) from the European University Institute, Department of Social and Political Science (EUI/Florence, Italy). Annika holds a diploma degree of the Humboldt
University of Berlin in Social Sciences. She worked as a student researcher
at the Social Science Research Centre and as a Research assistant at the EUI.
Currently she coordinates the activities of the Florence School of Regulation at the
Robert Schuman Centre at the EUI. Her research interests include: Social movements, participative democracy, social and political marginalization, and the welfare state. On this topics she has presented papers at numerous international conferences and published book chapters between others in a book edited by Strath and Magnussen on European Solidarities and in a book edited by Chabanet and Royall on protest of marginalized people in Europe.
