2050 Roadmap to a low Carbon Economy: Energy Policy & Innovation

The 3rd academic Roundtable of the Loyola de Palacio Chair to be held in Florence on the 24^th of May will focus on the EU energy technology “pillar”. We will address four specific sets of issues: °the roadmap to a 2050 low carbon economy, °the impact of new energy taxes and subsidies induced by climate change energy policy on the public finance of Member States, °the future role of oil, gas, coal and CCS and °a comparison in approaching energy technology policy in the US and the EU. On this basis we will end with an industrial roundtable.
